Video: Tudor’s future, Brahim controversy and more – Real Madrid vs. Juventus analysis from Bernabeu

Our editor, Lorenzo Bettoni, and Football Espana editor, Ruairidh Barlow, analyse Juventus’ 1-0 loss against Real Madrid from the Bernabeu: what does it mean for Igor Tudor’s future? Did Brahim Diaz deserve a red card?

Last night, we were among the accredited media at the Estadio Bernabeu, where Jude Bellingham secured Real Madrid all three points against Juventus with his first goal of the season.

Juventus put in a decent performance and even had the chance to take the lead in the second half with Dusan Vlahovic, but the Serbian was denied by a superb save from Thibaut Courtois.

There was controversy in the second half when Brahim Diaz could have been given a red card for a foul on Khephren Thuram.

This defeat is unlikely to have consequences for Igor Tudor’s job, but the Croat remains under scrutiny as Juventus have gone winless in the last seven matches.

Quick take: Match context: momentum and small details could decide this one, especially set-pieces and transitions. Form and fitness will matter; expect managers to rotate carefully around the congested schedule. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
