Last night, we were among the accredited media at the Estadio Bernabeu, where Jude Bellingham secured Real Madrid all three points against Juventus with his first goal of the season.
Juventus put in a decent performance and even had the chance to take the lead in the second half with Dusan Vlahovic, but the Serbian was denied by a superb save from Thibaut Courtois.
There was controversy in the second half when Brahim Diaz could have been given a red card for a foul on Khephren Thuram.
This defeat is unlikely to have consequences for Igor Tudor’s job, but the Croat remains under scrutiny as Juventus have gone winless in the last seven matches.
