Sources: Bournemouth make Semenyo transfer plan amid Man United interest

Bournemouth have enjoyed a fantastic start to the Premier League season so far with Antoine Semenyo at the heart of their success.

The Ghana international, 25, has contributed to their early form with six goals and three assists in just eight appearances across all competitions.

Following Bournemouth’s 3-1 win against Fulham, Andoni Iraola’s side have risen to fourth in the league table with four wins and one defeat in their first seven games.

However, one byproduct of their success is that it has inspired further interest in their best players, with Semenyo now on the radar of the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Tottenham.

The Cherries lost Ilya Zabarnyi, Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Dango Ouattara as Iraola‘s squad was raided during the summer transfer window.

Bournemouth are extremely reluctant to lose more key players following the summer exodus, and are now putting plans in place to keep hold of Semenyo.

Football Insider revealed on 3 October that Bournemouth will demand over £80million to sell Semenyo in a blow to the likes of Man United.

Quick take: Transfer watch: this move could reshape selection options and tactical balance in coming weeks. If incentives and add-ons are confirmed, expect follow-up negotiations or medicals to move quickly. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
