Former Hearts of Oak defender Dan Quaye backs Didi Dramani’s goalkeeper rotation policy

Former Ghana international Dan Quaye has no qualms with Hearts of Oak coach Didi Dramani over goalkeeper rotation policy at the club.

The former Black Stars assistant tactician has rotated first-choice goalkeeper Benjamin Asare and his deputy Solomon Agbasi in the past few weeks, with both shot stopper producing top-class performances.

Asare, who had impressed following his return from injury, was left on the bench at the weekend, with Dramani entrusting Solomon Agbasi, as the Phobians played out a pulsating goalless draw against the Hunters.

The former Dreams FC safer pair of hands produced an assured performance, making crucial saves to salvage his side from defeat.

For Dramani, the decision proved successful not only in securing points but also in reinforcing his philosophy of squad management and internal competition as pillars for sustained team success.

Speaking in an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Quaye, a former rock-solid defender for the Phobians thrown his weight behind Didi Dramanis decision to rotate the goalkeepers, stressing Asare cannot play all games in the season.

The rotation policy wont be problematic for either Hearts of Oak or the Black Stars. He cannot play all games. Solomon Agbasi has produced some decent performances and needs to be given the chance he concluded.
