Dutch-Ghanaian attacker Don-Angelo Konadu on target as Ajax thump Excelsior 7-2 in Dutch Cup

Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, Don-Angelo Konadu, was on target for Ajax on Wednesday evening, helping the team to thump Excelsior Maassluis 7-2 in the Dutch Cup.The talented 19-year-old started in the attack of the Eredivisie giants in the Round 32 clash against Excelsior Maassluis.In the game played at Sportpark Dijkpolder, Ajax were unplayable throughout the 90 minutes and made light work of the opponent.The visiting team opened the scoring just 12 minutes into the first half when Owen Wijndal scored after he was assisted by Mika Godts.Later in the 19th minute, Anton Gaaei doubled the lead for Ajax, before Don-Angelo Konadu made it 3-0 with a fine strike five minutes later.Before halftime, Jorthy Mokio also found the back of the net, ensuring Ajax went into the break with a huge 4-0 lead.After recess, both teams opened up play and produced a goal fest.
