Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Palmeiras forward Vitor Roque. The player has enjoyed a career revival since returning to his home land after a failed stint with Barcelona.

The 20-year-old has scored 16 goals while assisting another three in 30 league appearances for Palmeiras. Football Insider has reported that the three Premier League clubs are now keen on the forward, with United in particular seeking a potential replacement for Joshua Zirkzee.

Zirkzee is seeking more first team minutes, and has been linked with a loan move to another Premier League club in January. Everton and West Ham are the sides most often linked with interest in the Dutch striker.

United were linked with a move for Real Madrid youngster Endrick, but the player looks to be nearing a move to French outfit Lyon. Chelsea and Tottenham are understood to be on the market for attacking reinforcements as well.

Tottenham has suffered injuries to several forward players, namely Dominic Solanke who hasn’t featured since the club’s 2-0 victory over Manchester City in August. Chelsea welcomed back Liam Delap from injury recently, but are still reeling from the loss of Cole Palmer.

Preferred striker Joao Pedro has had to deputize in Palmer’s No.10 position, leaving the attack lacking a bit of firepower.

United are also bracing for the eventual loss of Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo, when the pair report to their respective national teams for January’s African Cup of Nations. Despite investing heavily in the signings of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Sesko over the summer – United continue to be linked with attacking reinforcements.

Chelsea were keen on Roque in April 2023 before he signed for Barcelona, and retain their long standing interest in the player. Tottenham have been tracking several strikers as they aim to fill the void left by Harry Kane’s departure in 2023.

Spurs have also been linked with Porto ace Samu Aghehowa as well as Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic amongst others.
