Three shot-stoppers nominated for October GPL Goalkeeper of the Month award

Three goalkeepers have been nominated for the October Ex-Goalkeepers Union Goalkeeper of the Month Award following their impressive performances in the Ghana Premier League.The nominees are Lawrence Osei of Heart of Lions, Zulka Masawudu of Young Apostles, and Musah Zakari of FC Samartex.Heart of Lions’ Lawrence Osei featured in four matches, keeping three clean sheets while conceding three goals, as his side recorded one win, two draws, and one defeat in the month.Young Apostles’ Zulka Masawudu stood out with two clean sheets in three matches, conceding just one goal as his team went unbeaten, winning two and drawing one.FC Samartex’s Musah Zakari also impressed, keeping two clean sheets in four games and conceding only twice, as his side finished the month with three wins and one draw.The winner will receive a special package from the Ex-Goalkeepers Union, which includes a pair of gloves, a branded towel, water bottles, and a T-shirt.
