La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Davide Frattesi wants to get more playing time, so he’ll be listening to offers in the January transfer window.
Italy international Frattesi is eager to leave Inter in January as he wants to get more playing time.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Frattesi will be open to listening to offers during the winter transfer window, having only collected 363 minutes of football across all competitions this term.
Frattesi has started in just three games in 2025-26, and only new signing Andy Diouf has played fewer minutes than the Italian midfielder in the middle of the park so far this season.
Frattesi wants to get more playing time at a club level, also not to risk missing out on an Italy call-up for the 2026 World Cup, provided that the Azzurri qualify.
Gazzetta notes that Frattesi already attracted interest from some top clubs in the summer, but none matched the Nerazzurri’s price tag.
Atletico Madrid, Napoli, Roma and Juventus sounded out the midfielder’s availability. Inter however, were reluctant to sell the Italian to a direct rival for the title and their stance is unlikely to change in January.
Should Frattesi leave, however, the Nerazzurri have already identified a replacement: Genoa’s Morten Frendrup, who is expected to be available for circa €20-25m.
