Manchester United’s resurgence under Rúben Amorim continues to gather momentum, with their 2–2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend stretching their unbeaten league run to five matches.

A last-minute header from Matthijs de Ligt secured a valuable point and highlighted just how far the team has come since last season’s chaos.

Amorim has injected structure, intensity and belief back into the squad, with several players — including Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha — thriving in his system.

But despite United’s progress, the manager is still pushing for reinforcements in attack as he looks to rebuild a frontline capable of challenging at the highest level.

According to Sky Germany, Manchester United have now made an enquiry for Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi.

Dortmund are attempting to tie the 23-year-old down to a new long-term deal, but negotiations are reportedly far apart, leaving his future uncertain.

Adeyemi — who has scored twice in 10 Bundesliga appearances this season — has been at the club since 2022, but both he and his representative Jorge Mendes are pushing for a release clause to be included in any fresh agreement.

United are monitoring the situation closely and remain interested should contract talks stall.

If Amorim’s side did manage to bring him to Old Trafford, they would be adding one of the quickest and most explosive forwards in Europe. His former Dortmund teammate Jude Bellingham once summed up Adeyemi’s biggest weapon simply: “Not many players can stop him.”

Given United’s ongoing search for more pace and penetration in the final third, Adeyemi could represent an ideal fit — if a deal becomes possible.

Quick take: Big picture: the update fits broader trends across the league with schedule pressure and tight tables. Supporters will watch for clarity from training ground reports and official briefings. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
