Report Baroni at risk of being fired after humiliating 6-0 loss

Torino are reportedly giving serious consideration to the future of coach Marco Baroni following today’s humiliating 6-0 defeat to Como.

They had already suffered another heavy loss to the team coached by Cesc Fabregas earlier this term, falling 5-1 on home turf back in November 2025.

The trip to the Stadio Sinigaglia was even worse, hammered 6-0 by a Tasos Douvikas brace, Martin Baturina, Lucas Da Cunha penalty, Nicolas Kuhn and Maxence Caqueret goals.

At the final whistle, the squad stood under the away section and received insults from the Torino fans, who had clambered on top of the railings even during the closing minutes of the match.

Toro now have the worst defensive record in Serie A, conceding 40 goals in 23 matches this season.

They have lost eight of the last 11 rounds, interrupted only by a brief positive with the 3-2 Coppa Italia victory over Roma.

Baroni had been backed by the club, but Sky Sport Italia, DAZN and others now report his position is at serious risk.

They have just six Serie A wins this term, five draws and 11 defeats.

Quick take: Match context: momentum and small details could decide this one, especially set-pieces and transitions. Form and fitness will matter; expect managers to rotate carefully around the congested schedule. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
