Thank you Ghana!" he posted on social media after the tournament.Although he joined his teammates late in Japan, Asare produced a sensational performance against South Korea, saving a penalty in the 1-0 defeat to the Taeguk Warriors.Asare has conceded only three goals in 8 Ghana Premier League matches this season, and was recently named the Sports Writers Association of Ghana Player of the Year.Meanwhile, the Black Stars will find out their opponents for the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage at the draw to be held on December 5, 2025 in Washington, DC.
