Christian Pulisic scored a goal for Milan against Virtus Entella on Friday, but the Rossoneri were beaten 3-2 by the Serie B side.
Milan lost 3-2 in a friendly against Virtus Entella on Friday.
As previously reported, Massimiliano Allegri strongly wanted to play this game to test players returning from injuries, such as Ardon Jashari and Pulisic. Both featured in the Rossoneri XI, but Allegri’s men eventually lost 3-2.
Jashari played the full game, but proved to be still far from his best shape.
Milan took the lead at minute nine through Pulisic, but David Ankeye levelled the score in the 34th minute.
Emanuele Borsani, 17, put Milan in the lead again around the hour mark, but Virtus Entella scored the equaliser again at minute 68 and ultimately won the game at minute 87. Antonio Boccadamo and Alessandro Debenedetti put their names on the scoresheet for the 14th-placed Serie B side.
Errors in the build-up from Youssouf Fofana and Jashari cost Milan the first two goals.
‘Milan fell apart on all fronts, the team was disconnected between the lines and predictable on the ball’, wrote Gazzetta.
‘For Allegri, these are not encouraging signs ahead of the restart, especially from Estupinan and Fofana.’
