Pjanic and Thiago Silva need more than nostalgia for Juventus and Milan

Nostalgia isn’t always such a powerful motivator, so we are far from convinced that Miralem Pjanic and Thiago Silva will want a return to Juventus and AC Milan respectively.

There have been a few too many suppositions in recent days without real evidence behind them, because the doors are not always open to nostalgic reunions.

We have recently seen Pjanic associated with a possible comeback to Juventus, while Thiago Silva is mentioned as a potential transfer target for Milan.

This is all because it is true that Juve are seeking a midfielder and the Rossoneri wouldn’t mind adding another central defender to their ranks, preferably one with experience.

Pjanic did visit the Continassa training camp, but only to say hello to a few old friends after his most recent experience in Russia.

Thiago Silva is happy, more than happy, at Fluminense until his contract runs down in June, unless something unpredictable happens between now and then.

Milan will always be to him just an extraordinary photobook of memories, but for the moment there is nothing more to add.
