Crystal Palace co-owner and chairman Steve Parish revealed the club have had “early conversations” with Oliver Glasner about renewing his contract.

Glasner, who joined Palace in February 2024, is out of contract at Selhurst Park at the end of this season.

He has had an incredible impact on the Eagles since stepping into the dugout, leading them to the first major trophy in their history last term by beating Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup final.

Palace, who are also playing their first season in major European competition this season, also then won the Community Shield in August, overcoming reigning Premier League champions Liverpool on penalties.

Glasner also oversaw Palace’s longest-ever unbeaten run, going 19 matches in all competitions without losing before falling to a dramatic 2-1 loss to Everton last weekend.

Quick take: Transfer watch: this move could reshape selection options and tactical balance in coming weeks. If incentives and add-ons are confirmed, expect follow-up negotiations or medicals to move quickly. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
