
President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has confirmed that Otto Addo will remain in charge of the Black Stars and lead the team to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.The former Borussia Dortmund talent coach has faced criticism following Ghanaâs failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the countryâs first absence from the tournament in over two decades.However, Addo redeemed his standing by guiding the national team to the 2026 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.Despite securing a qualification, sections of the Ghanaian football community have called for his dismissal. But Mr Okraku has firmly backed the former Ghana international to continue in his role."Otto Addo is our coach.
