Okaikwei Central MP Patrick Boamah says Black Stars lack creative midfielders to support Partey

The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, has expressed concern over the Black Stars’ lack of creativity in midfield.He believes the national team currently has no player capable of consistently creating scoring chances.Speaking to Sporty FM, Boamah identified Daniel Kofi Kyereh of Freiburg as the last player who effectively fulfilled that creative role before suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.According to him, Kyereh’s partnership with Thomas Partey gave Ghana balance and control in midfield.“The national team lacks creativity in midfield. We were close to having someone who could juggle the ball and create chances to partner Partey,” he said. “That was Kyereh of Freiburg. It’s unfortunate he’s been struggling with injury.”Boamah also pointed out that players such as Kwasi Sibo and Elisha Owusu have yet to show the technical flair required to connect midfield and attack.He further urged the technical team to maintain consistency in player selection to build cohesion within the squad.“Today it’s Sulemana with Partey, tomorrow it’s Kwasi Sibo or Elisha Owusu,” he lamented. “That’s where the problem lies.
