Mohammed Kudus shares biggest football memory growing up in Nima

LUTON, ENGLAND – JULY 26: Mohammed Kudus of Tottenham HotspurMohammed Kudus has opened up on how growing up in his hometown Nima, Accra, shaped his career and the memories he made playing the sport.The Tottenham Hotspur star is one of Ghana's best players in the Premier League, enjoying a blistering start to life in North London following his move from West Ham United.In the latest episode of the Premier League's UNCUT, the 25-year-old disclosed that playing for a local club in Nima remains the highlight of his childhood."Playing for my local club in Accra in Nima is the biggest memory I have," he said.Kudus started his youth football at Strong Tower before he was scouted and taken to the Right to Dream Academy.According to the Black Stars midfielder, Nima shaped his values and remains a key part of his personality."It is a big part of who I am. I am very proud of where I am from in Ghana and most of my values comes from the upbringing I got from there and it is part of me forever and I am proud of it," he added.Kudus will miss Ghana's Kirin Cup games against Japan and South Korea due to a knock he suffered during the Premier League game against Chelsea on November 1.
