Michael Essien hoping Ivorian teenager Christ Inao Oulai plays for Chelsea one day

Former Ghana international Michael Essien has opened up on his admiration for Ivorian teenager Christ Inao Oulai.Oulai, 19, currently plays for Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor and is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in the division.According to Essien, who formerly played for Chelsea, he hopes to see Christ Inao Oulai playing for the English Premier League side in the future."I started following the Turkish Super League thanks to Christ Inao Oulaï, and I can say I'm a fan.“He's a top-level midfielder, and he's only 19 years old. I hope to see him one day wearing the Chelsea jersey,” Michael Essien told Sky Sports.Christ Inao Oulai was in action for Trabzonspor over the weekend and scored to seal a 2-0 victory for the team against Eyupspor.He now has one goal and two assists after making four appearances in the Turkish top-flight league in the ongoing 2025/26 season.
