Manchester City are keen on Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento. Livramento has developed into one of the Premier League’s brightest talents and is on the radar of several suitors.

TeamTalk has reported that Man City lead the chase, with manager Pep Guardiola a huge admirer of the 23-year-old. The England international is seen by City as the complete package who capable of being deployed in an inverted role.

Livramento is pacey, comfortable on the ball, and comfortable with both feet. Guardiola reportedly has plans to sign him as a long-term solution at right back.

City are now weighing up an offer worth in excess of £65m in a package which could also include goalkeeper James Trafford in a player-exchange deal. Livramemto joined Newcastle from Southampton in the summer of 2023 and has developed into a key man for manager Eddie Howe.

He’s made 72 Premier League appearances for the club is one of the Premier League’s elite full-backs. He became a full England international in 2024 and is a strong contender to make Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.

Livramento’s homegrown status adds to the player’s appeal, with many Premier League clubs vying for his signature. A product of the Chelsea youth academy, the player has admirers in his former club.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca deploys a high line which suit Livramento’s style of play. Manchester United are also interested suitors, as Ruben Amorim’s wing-back system also fits the player’s style.

Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the player. Prizing him away from Newcastle would take some doing however, with the Magpies remaining adamant he is not for sale.

Manager Eddie Howe has deemed the player “irreplaceable” and is seeking to tie him down to a long term deal at the club. Newcastle hierarchy are seeking a new deal that removes the player’s release clause which reportedly stands between £70-80 million.

The player himself is believed to be happy at St. James Park. While he will not agitate for a move away, he has not ruled out moving to a club fighting for major titles.
