Juventus shareholder to watch Napoli game with fans: ‘No room for us in owners’ box’

Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, a minority Juventus shareholder who wanted to buy a majority stake in the club in December, said he’ll watch today’s match against Napoli among Bianconeri supporters at the Allianz Stadium: ‘There’s no room for us in the owners’ box.’

Tether CEO Ardoino, who owns an 11.5% stake in Juventus, will be at the Allianz Stadium in Turin today to watch the Bianconeri’s home match against Napoli, but won’t be sitting in the owners’ box.

“Tonight, I’ll be going to Juventus-Napoli among the Juventus supporters. There’s no room for us in the owners’ box,” Ardoino said.

Tether sent a €1.1 billion offer to buy a majority stake in Juventus in mid-December, but their proposal was rejected by Exor.

Juventus owner John Elkann said on December 13 that the Bianconeri’s “history and values” were not for sale.

The Agnelli family has owned Juventus for over 100 years, and it is not planning to sell the club at any price.

Juventus are just four points below third-placed Napoli in the standings. The Old Lady is still unbeaten at home this season.

Quick take: Big picture: the update fits broader trends across the league with schedule pressure and tight tables. Supporters will watch for clarity from training ground reports and official briefings. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
