How many points do Juventus need to qualify for Champions League playoff?

Juventus have yet to win a Champions League game this season, but they’ll likely need eight or nine points in the last four games of the league phase to avoid an early elimination.

Juventus are still winless in four Champions League games this season as the Bianconeri have collected three draws and one loss in Europe’s elite competition.

Based on last season’s standings, the Serie A giants will need from eight to nine points to qualify for the Champions League playoffs this term.

Their next game is away at Bodo/Glimt on November 25. The Norwegian side only have two points in four matches, but, as Gazzetta highlights, they have a solid European record at home over the last four seasons with 29 wins, two draws and eight defeats.

Juventus will then host Pafos at the Allianz Stadium on December 10, in the last European game of the year.

The last two matches in the league phase are scheduled for January 2026. On the 21st at home against José Mourinho’s Benfica, and then on the 28th away at Monaco.

In the previous campaign, 11 points and a decent goal difference were enough to qualify for the Champions League playoffs, although not as a seeded team.

If the current campaign follows the same trend, 11 or 12 points should be sufficient for playoff qualification in 2025-26, but this means Juventus will need to make a quick U-turn in the second part of the league phase.

Securing a spot in the Round of 16 appears unlikely for the Bianconeri as the last team to qualify directly in 2024-25 required 16 points.

Quick take: Big picture: the update fits broader trends across the league with schedule pressure and tight tables. Supporters will watch for clarity from training ground reports and official briefings. Continental stakes raise the intensity, where away goals no longer apply but margins still feel razor thin. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
