Bonny is €25m well spent as Inter no longer have any doubts in attack

Ange-Yoan Bonny could start for Inter in tomorrow night’s clash with Roma, but the main point here is about reliability.

The Nerazzurri decided to invest just over €25 million, bonuses included, in a forward they had long admired at Parma – a player who had Chivu’s full backing and had been identified several weeks earlier.

It was just a matter of waiting for the right moment to make their move. Bonny had already given priority to Inter and never changed his mind.

His integration has gone extremely well, and even now it’s clear this was a signing destined to prove more and more successful.

Above all, the Nerazzurri no longer face a puzzle in attack when either Thuram or Lautaro are unavailable, given that the options are now completed by Pio Esposito.

Last season, between Arnautovic and Taremi, it certainly wasn’t the same.

Bonny’s arrival has brought balance, depth, and a touch of future promise to an Inter side that now look perfectly equipped up front.
