Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal have offered Sergej Milinkovic-Savic a contract extension until 2028.
Former Lazio star Milinkovic-Savic has received an offer to extend his contract with Al-Hilal until 2028, as reported by my colleague Gianluigi Longari.
The Serbia international’s current deal runs out this coming June, but the Saudi side has offered him an extension until 2028.
Milinkovic-Savic earns €20m per season at Al-Hilal, and the terms of a new deal also include a substantial wage.
Milinkovic-Savic recently reunited with his former Lazio coach, Simone Inzaghi, at Al-Hilal, as the Italian tactician was appointed over the summer.
Milinkovic-Savic joined Al-Hilal from Lazio in 2023.
Other Italian media have linked SMS with a return to Serie A, but it remains to be seen whether the ex-Lazio star is open to lowering his salary to return to Italy.
