According to Corriere dello Sport, Fabio Paratici has targeted Diego Coppola as a possible reinforcement for Fiorentina in January, but there are mixed reports over the future of coach Paolo Vanoli.
More and more Italian sources confirm that Paratici will become the new Fiorentina sporting director starting next week and according to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian has already targeted some possible reinforcements for the January transfer window.
The Rome-based paper claims that Coppola (Brighton), Jeremie Boga (OGC Nice) and Eric Martel (Koln) are three of Paratici’s top targets for the January window.
Fiorentina sit at the bottom of the Serie A table with just one win in 17 league games.
They have already replaced Stefano Pioli with Vanoli, but the new coach has not brought the desired results.
Gazzetta insists that Vanoli will likely be sacked if Fiorentina lose the next match against Cremonese at home, while Corriere dello Sport claims that the Italian tactician will keep his job until the end of the season, unless he doesn’t even earn one point in the next three games against Cremonese, Milan and Bologna.
Corriere dello Sport suggests that the Fiorentina team will change drastically during the January transfer window, but two of their best players, Albert Gudmundsson and Moise Kean, will remain at the Franchi until the end of the season.
