Ex-Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo reveals what he will do after retirement: ‘Soon’

Former Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo reveals he will retire ‘soon’ but feels he will be ‘prepared’ to become more of a family person and follow other hobbies.

Cristiano Ronaldo revealed in his latest interview on YouTube that he is close to retirement.

In his chat with Piers Morgan, the former Juventus striker said he would retire “soon.”

“But I will be prepared,” he added.

“It’ll be tough and difficult, of course. Probably I will cry, yes. It will be very difficult, but Piers, I have prepared for my future since 25 or 26 years old. Nothing will compare to the adrenaline we have to score a goal. But, everything has a beginning and an end, so I’ll be prepared.

“I’ll have more time for me, my family, to raise my kids. I want to follow Cristiano Junior because he’s at the age where you do stupid things, normal, I did the same. I want to be more [of a] family person, more present,” Ronaldo continued.

“Also, I have my own hobbies. I like to see UFC fights. I like padel. We learn, me and my friends, my closer friends, it’s something that brings us together. I want to learn more about my companies, other stuff. I want to do funny things, things that I didn’t do before. The perspective I have about football is not just going to training for one hour and doing treatment. Live football 24/7 to do the right things and perform. At my age, it’s getting more difficult to recover fast, but I’m enjoying this process. I have a different view and ideas, for me it’s a good challenge and I enjoy this period of my life.”

Cristiano Ronaldo spent three seasons at Juventus, winning the Serie A title twice and scoring 101 goals in 134 appearances.

The Portuguese legend also won two Supercoppa Italiana and one Coppa Italia.

Cristiano Ronaldo left the Allianz Stadium in the summer of 2021 to return to Manchester United. To date, Cristiano Ronaldo is the most expensive signing ever made by a Serie A club as he moved to Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018 for €117m.

The second part of his interview with Piers Morgan will be released in the coming days. Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nassr expires in June 2027.

Quick take: Big picture: the update fits broader trends across the league with schedule pressure and tight tables. Supporters will watch for clarity from training ground reports and official briefings. We’ll keep an eye on confirmed details as the story develops from official sources.
