Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim says his side are playing much better than last season despite their continued poor form in the Premier League.
United have four points from their opening four games and go into the weekend in 14th place in the table.
Only Manchester City (8.5) have a higher expected goals total than Manchester United (8.3) so far in the Premier League this season, and Amorim hopes the return of Matheus Cunha this weekend can help them convert those chances against Chelsea.
“This is football and this is the club with more pressure maybe than any in the world,” he said.
💬 "We miss him. We need him in this team."
Ruben discusses Licha's ongoing recovery 💪⤵️
“I think we are playing well between the boxes. We need to be more clinical. If you see the numbers of shots, the xG, these things are all good but if you don’t score, it doesn’t matter.
“We want to win. Last year I was very critical of the way we played but now I think we are playing very well until the boxes – defending and attacking.
