
Hearts of Oak Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo, has acknowledged the disappointment following the clubâs 1-0 loss to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in Sundayâs Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.The only goal of the match came in the first half from Guinean striker Morifing Donzo, ending Hearts of Oakâs unbeaten run in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.Speaking to Asempa FM, Opare Addo admitted the setback was painful but expressed confidence in the squadâs ability to bounce back."We didn't get the three points we were hoping for, but there are a lot of games to be played. I must admit that it's painful, but we have a good squad, and we will continue to fight together with our fans," he said.He urged supporters to remain steadfast despite the loss."We all went through together, and we targeted ending the game on a police note. No matter what has happened, let's continue to support the team, and I believe that we will get there," he added.With the defeat, Hearts of Oak drop to sixth on the league table with 16 points and will travel to face Swedru All Blacks in Matchday 10 this weekend.
