Tottenham’s 2025/26 Premier League campaign has been a solid improvement on last term’s chaos, even if not everything has clicked perfectly.
Under Thomas Frank, Spurs have rediscovered some much-needed stability and attacking flair, sitting sixth in the table after eight games with four wins, two draws, and two defeats — a clear sign of progress from the turbulent Ange Postecoglou era.
The likes of Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Bergvall have been standout performers, while Dominic Solanke’s injury has left a noticeable void up front.
Yet for all the positives, one major concern remains — the continued struggles of Richarlison.
Now, it seems Tottenham could be ready to cut their losses.
According to a new report from TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to listen to offers for Richarlison in the January transfer window, with the club reportedly losing patience after another inconsistent start to the season.
The Brazilian forward, described as “exceptional” by Thomas Frank, opened the campaign with a brace on the opening day but has managed just one goal in his last seven appearances since.
Signed from Everton in 2022 for a fee rising to £60 million, Richarlison has struggled to justify that hefty price tag, and sources close to the club believe there is now a genuine chance he could be made available for transfer in 2026 — or even earlier if the right offer arrives this winter.
The report adds that Tottenham’s recruitment team are already sketching plans to revamp their forward line for the second half of the season, potentially paving the way for Richarlison’s departure.
Interestingly, Everton could look to re-sign their former talisman, with TEAMtalk claiming the Toffees are keen to bring in a proven Premier League striker in January. Richarlison’s name is said to be among those being considered as they explore attacking reinforcements.
For Spurs, the sale of Richarlison could open the door for a new frontman — and perhaps signal the beginning of a refreshed attacking era under Thomas Frank.
Over the years, he's had the pleasure of interviewing some of the biggest names in world sport, including Usain Bolt, Rafael Nadal, Christian Pulisic, and more.
