Tottenham Hotspur’s 2025/26 season has been a breath of fresh air after last year’s turbulence.
Under Thomas Frank, Spurs have rediscovered structure and purpose — sitting third in the Premier League with five wins from their opening nine matches.
The likes of Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Bergvall, and Micky van de Ven have all excelled, while the North London side look far more balanced than in previous campaigns.
However, one issue persists — goals from the frontline. Richarlison’s inconsistency and Dominic Solanke’s injury have left Spurs short of a reliable finisher, prompting Frank to push for another attacking addition.
Now, reports suggest he’s set his sights on one of the Premier League’s most dependable forwards.
According to Fichajes, Tottenham Hotspur have tabled a £60 million bid to sign Jarrod Bowen from West Ham United ahead of the January transfer window.
Frank is reportedly a long-time admirer of the Hammers captain, viewing him as a perfect fit for Spurs’ pressing and transition-heavy system. Despite West Ham’s poor form this term, Bowen has remained their standout performer, scoring three goals and continuing to lead by example as club captain.
The report adds that Tottenham see Bowen as a “high-impact signing” capable of lifting their attack, while West Ham — struggling near the bottom of the table — may consider a sale if a significant offer arrives.
Bowen, once described as “magnificent” by former boss David Moyes, is said to be weighing up his future amid the Hammers’ ongoing struggles, with Champions League football under Frank potentially proving hard to resist.
A January move would not be straightforward given Bowen’s importance to the club, but with Tottenham’s interest firm and West Ham under pressure to reshape their squad, a blockbuster deal could yet materialise.
Over the years, he's had the pleasure of interviewing some of the biggest names in world sport, including Usain Bolt, Rafael Nadal, Christian Pulisic, and more.
