Tottenham Hotspur exploring surprise move for “outstanding” West Ham star with 6 G/A this season

Tottenham Hotspur are enduring a difficult season, sitting 14th in the Premier League and managing just two victories since the start of December.

The club has already been knocked out of both the FA Cup and EFL Cup, leaving the Champions League as their only bright spot this term.

With results under pressure and their squad in need of reinforcements, manager Thomas Frank is reportedly exploring options in the January transfer window to strengthen his attacking ranks.

Tottenham are considering a surprise swoop for West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville, according to the Mail Online.

The 24-year-old Dutch international joined the Hammers from Leeds in the summer of 2024 for £25 million and has already contributed six goals and assists in all competitions.

Summerville’s pace, technical skill, and ability to create chances make him a natural candidate for Spurs’ left flank, especially following Son Heung-min’s move to the United States.

Former England striker Alan Shearer has described Summerville as “outstanding,” reflecting the player’s quality and goal threat.

Prior to joining West Ham, Summerville starred for Leeds, netting 19 goals and providing nine assists in the 2023-24 season, earning him the EFL Championship Player of the Year award.

While Nuno Espirito Santo is reportedly keen to keep his winger amid West Ham’s relegation battle, Tottenham are actively assessing options to reinforce their squad in January.
