Tottenham’s 2025/26 Premier League campaign has been a refreshing turnaround after last season’s instability.
Under Thomas Frank, Spurs have rediscovered their identity — structured, energetic, and confident — and currently sit third in the Premier League after nine matches, boasting five wins, two draws, and just two defeats. It’s a stark contrast to the unpredictability of the Ange Postecoglou era.
The likes of Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Bergvall have been outstanding, while Micky van de Ven continues to shine at the heart of defence. Yet, for all their progress, the forward line remains a lingering concern.
Richarlison has struggled for consistency, scoring just once in his last eight games, and Dominic Solanke remains sidelined through injury — leaving Frank’s side short of a true focal point up front.
Now, it appears Tottenham could turn to one of Europe’s most in-form attackers to solve that problem.
According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur have joined a growing list of clubs monitoring Mason Greenwood, whose resurgence at Marseille has reignited interest from across Europe.
The 24-year-old forward has found his form again in France, scoring 21 goals last season and already netting eight in all competitions this term.
His remarkable four-goal display against Le Havre earlier this month caught global attention — with Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi praising his quality, describing Greenwood as “incredibly talented” and someone who “has what it takes to become one of the best players in the world.”
Reports suggest Barcelona are currently leading the chase, with scouts attending several of Greenwood’s recent games. However, Tottenham and West Ham are both closely following the situation as they weigh up attacking reinforcements ahead of January.
For Spurs, Greenwood is viewed as a potential long-term solution — a versatile forward capable of operating across the front line, bringing Premier League experience and elite finishing to a squad still searching for a consistent No.9.
Convincing Greenwood to return to England, however, could prove challenging, with the player said to be settled in France and eager to continue competing in Europe’s top competitions.
Still, if Tottenham can pull off the move, it could be a statement signing — and the kind of attacking spark that transforms their season from promising to title-challenging.
Over the years, he's had the pleasure of interviewing some of the biggest names in world sport, including Usain Bolt, Rafael Nadal, Christian Pulisic, and more.
