Since Harry Kane left Tottenham to join Bayern Munich two years ago, speculation has grown over whether England captain Harry Kane could return to the London club at some point.
The rumours only intensified after reports revealed a clause in Kane’s Bayern contract allowing him to leave for around €62 million in January 2026.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has now made it clear that he would welcome Kane back with open arms.
“There are a lot of Tottenham fans, including myself who would like to see Kane back,” Frank said, according to Sky.
The 51-year-old isn’t overly optimistic about it happening at the moment, though, given the sporting success Kane is enjoying at Bayern.
“Personally, I don’t think he will do it right now, if I’m honest. He’ll probably stay in Bayern [Munich] and continue performing well. He was the top scorer last year. He won the title and he’s doing fantastic now,” he added.
“I don’t know what he’s thinking. Myself, I’m a traveller, I like to explore things as well, so he’s been here for many years, so why not enjoy the time in Bayern a little bit more.
