Multiple sources in Italy claim that Luciano Spalletti is expected not to change Juventus’ system on his debut against Cremonese tomorrow, picking a three-man defence.
New Juventus coach Spalletti is not expected to make significant changes to Juventus’ tactics on his debut against Cremonese tomorrow.
The Italian tactician will take charge of his first training session at Continassa today, ahead of his unveiling press conference at 12:00 p.m. local time.
Italian newspapers Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport report that Spalletti will initially rely on a three-man defence, the same system Juventus have been using since March under Igor Tudor.
Lack of time to prepare for the Cremonese match means Spalletti will initially stick to the old tactics, but the Tuscan tactician is also expected to bring changes going forward, reintroducing a four-man defence.
After Saturday’s game against Cremonese, Juventus will host Sporting CP in the Champions League Round 4 next week.
The Bianconeri are still looking for their first win in the European competition, having collected two points in the opening three games.
