The game, however, was not as comfortable as the result would suggest, especially because Pisa hit the woodwork twice in the first half.
Tuttosport reports that Spalletti was truly unhappy with Juventus’ first-half performance, so he made his voice heard inside the dressing room at half-time.
The Turin-based paper reports that Juventus’ lack of concentration ‘drove Spalletti mad.’
The team appeared disjointed on the pitch, boosting Pisa’s confidence and prompting the Italian tactician to deliver a firm dressing room speech that contributed to changing his players’ approach in the second half.
Pierre Kalulu and Kenan Yildiz’s goals ultimately allowed the Bianconeri to claim all three points, climbing to fourth spot, two points above Roma, who have a game in hand to be played against Genoa on Monday night.
