Leon Bailey has yet suffered another muscle injury and will remain out of action for at least 20 days, reports in Italy claim.
Roma winger Bailey has suffered a new muscle injury and will be forced to the sidelines for at least 20 days, Italian media, including Gazzetta, report.
The Aston Villa loanee had recently returned to action after suffering an injury on his very first training session as a Roma player in August.
Bailey has now suffered an injury to the left biceps femoris, which means he won’t be available for Thursday’s Europa League game against Rangers.
According to Gazzetta, Bailey will miss at least 20 days of action.
The Jamaica international has only collected 166 minutes of football for Roma so far this season, making four substitute appearances and starting once.
Bailey’s fitness issue further reduces Gian Piero Gasperini’s options in attack for tomorrow’s game against Rangers, as Paulo Dybala and Evan Ferguson are also unavailable due to injuries, while Tommaso Baldanzi is not part of their UEFA list.
