Adrien Rabiot has proved to be Milan‘s most useful summer signing, and the France international will return from injury in Sunday’s derby against Inter.
Milan are ready to welcome Rabiot back to the pitch for a competitive game as the Frenchman completed a full training session with the rest of the team on Tuesday.
The French midfielder practically spent a month on the sidelines, and his absence was very much felt as the Rossoneri collected just two victories and three draws while he was on the treatment table.
Perhaps, the Rossoneri would have had some more points had Rabiot been available, but the Frenchman is now ready to return in the next match against city rivals Inter.
Rabiot has proved to be the most useful summer signing so far, not only because he arrived on deadline day, but because the deal was made on sustainable terms (including his salary).
His signing allowed the Rossoneri to find the best balance, freeing Luka Modric to play as a deep-lying playmaker in an ideal setup.
One thing is clear: in that area of the pitch, Milan have some of the best quality in Serie A. A perfect mix, all the more so considering that Allegri will once again have Ardon Jashari at his disposal, one of the most expensive investments made last summer.
