Pulisic describes Maignan in one word as Milan win derby

Christian Pulisic scored the winning goal for Milan against Inter on Sunday, but was full of praise for his teammate Mike Maignan: ‘Unreal.’

USMNT star Pulisic described his teammate Maignan as “unreal” after Milan’s 1-0 win in the derby della Madonnina on Sunday.

Pulisic did score the winning goal, but Maignan was the Man Of The Match at San Siro, delivering six saves, including a penalty stop on Hakan Calhanoglu.

Pulisic already said in a post-match interview that Maignan had been the best player on the pitch, but then he also took to social media to praise the French keeper.

Pulisic posted a celebratory picture on Instagram story alongside Maignan and wrote: “This guy is unreal.”

Milan have been unbeaten since August, having only lost the opening Serie A game of the season against Cremonese.

The Rossoneri are two points below table leaders Roma and will host Lazio at San Siro this coming Saturday.
