After a treble last season, Paris Saint-Germain are aiming to become the first team since Real Madrid in 2017/18 to successfully defend the Champions League title.
Paris finished 19 points clear of second-placed Marseille in Ligue 1 and will visit five-time European champions Barcelona and host six-time winners Bayern Munich among their league phase fixtures this season.
Luis Enrique’s side made an uncertain start to the league phase in 2024/25, beating Girona 1-0 at home before taking one point from four matches in October and November, including a 1-0 defeat at Bayern.
