I’m enjoying my football at Bournemouth – Antoine Semenyo

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo says he is fully focused on Bournemouth and enjoying his football despite growing transfer speculation linking him with several clubs. The 25-year-old, who joined the Cherries from Bristol City in 2023, has been in superb form since last season and was linked with a move away after former teammates Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, and Illia Zabarnyi secured big transfers during the summer window.Speaking to Sky Sports, Semenyo addressed the rumours about his future with Manchester United, Tottenham, and the other top clubs still interested."I don’t think about it too much," he said. "I try to stay present as much as I can. You see the news all the time, and I see it as well, but I try to keep focused. I’m enjoying my football here. If I’m not scoring goals, all that talk goes away.""When my teammates left, there was interest and back and forth with the club, but I knew the manager had something up his sleeve. We’ve kicked on like a house on fire, and I’m glad I stayed because I’m enjoying every moment,” he added.Semeny has scored six goals and registered three assists in 10 Premier League games...

Leeroy Owusu on target in OB’s win over Nordsjaelland

Leeroy Owusu found the net in Odense Boldklub’s thrilling 4-2 victory over FC Nordsjaelland at the Right to Dream Park in Round 14 of the Danish Superligaen. The Dutch-Ghanaian defender struck in the 53rd minute with a calm finish to the bottom left corner after being set up by Jay-Roy Grot, giving OB a 2-1 lead. His goal sparked confidence in the team and delighted OB supporters who had travelled to Farum.Nordsjaelland had taken an early lead through Nicklas Røjkjær in the 16th minute, but Grot’s long-range strike after halftime levelled the game. Owusu’s well-timed run and precise shot completed the turnaround before Grot added two more goals in the 78th and 89th minutes to seal his hat-trick.Prince Amoako scored for Nordsjaelland in between, but OB’s counter-attacking power proved too much.Owusu’s composed display at right-back highlighted his growing influence this season. Rockson Yeboah sent off in IFK Göteborg’s goalless battle with Djurgården

Ghanaian defender Rockson Yeboah was sent off as IFK Goteborg battled to a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Djurgarden in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday. The 21-year-old, who started in defense for Goteborg, saw red in the 66th minute after receiving two yellow cards for reckless tackles within five minutes. His dismissal left Göteborg with ten men, forcing them to defend deep for the rest of the match.Djurgarden dominated possession with 60% of the ball and created more chances, recording 18 shots compared to Goteborg’s 13. Despite their control, they couldn’t find a breakthrough, thanks to a disciplined defensive display from the visitors after Yeboah’s exit.Yeboah had earlier come close to scoring when his shot from inside the box was blocked, moments before his first booking. His red card, however, shifted the momentum firmly in Djurgarden’s favor. The draw leaves Goteborg relieved but frustrated, as they turn their focus to their next league game against IFK Norrkoping on November 9.
