Christian Günter replaces Jordy Makengo whilst Lucas Höler comes in for Johan Manzambi.  

In difficult conditions, Sebastian Hoeneß’s team secured the points thanks to a composed finish from summer signing Bilal El Khannouss.

Christian Eriksen has made three appearances for VfL Wolfsburg since joining the Bundesliga club towards the end of the summer transfer window, but is still awaiting his first start.
