Coach Ibrahim Tanko has made a heartfelt plea to Medeama fans, calling on them to come out in their numbers and support the team in their upcoming clash against Berekum Chelsea.Tanko shared his worry about the way the team has been discussed in the media, noting that the negativity has been unfair, especially considering Medeamaâs strong position in the league."Honestly, it's difficult for me to say something because and the radio station that's supposed to call the players are not speaking good about the team even though we are first. So I hope that the supporters will come," he told Medeama TV.Despite the commentary around them, Medeama currently sits top of the league table with 23 points after 12 games, proof of their solid work this season.Sundayâs match at the TnA Stadium is a big one, and Tanko hopes the fans' presence will lift the players as they push to maintain their lead.

Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko is clear about what his team must do as they prepare to face Berekum Chelsea at home. For him, the goal is simple: take charge of the game and turn chances into goals.Tanko stressed that their approach will not change, even though this fixture carries extra meaning. Berekum Chelsea beat Medeama in Tarkwa last season, a result the players have not forgotten. With Medeama sitting top of the league with 23 points from 12 matches, the coach believes the team must show authority in front of their fans."I mean and the approach is the same like any other game. We are playing home. We want to control the game. We want to create more chances to score goals. So there's nothing new. We knew that and they are the ones who beat us here the last year. So definitely we are going to prepare well for them and we need the three points of course," he told Medeama TV.Saturdayâs clash offers Medeama a chance to protect their lead and respond to last yearâs setback with a strong performance.
