Black Queens and Brooklyn FC Women star, Jennifer Cudjoe, has hailed her teammates for their performance against the English Women's national team. The Black Queens suffered a 2-0 defeat to the European champions on Tuesday evening at St Mary's despite putting up a strong display.Cudjoe produced a solid midfielder performance alongside Grace Asantewaa but goals at either side of the half from Lucia Kendall and Alessia Russo was enough for England."Ending December camp on a good test!! Proud of the team and looking forward to continuing building from this game!!" posted Cudjoe on social media after the game.The friendly encounter is part of preparations for the Black Queens ahead of next year's Women's Africa Cup of Nations.The veteran midfielder, who played a key role as Ghana finished third at the last tournament is expected to make the team for the competition next year.The WAFCON tournament will also serve as a World Cup qualifying tournament.

Black Queens forward Doris Boaduwaa believes the team is on the right track despite their international friendly defeat to England. Ghana lost to the European champions in a highly-competitive game at the St Mary's on Tuesday evening.The Lionesses got off to a brilliant start after Lucia Kendall opened the scoring in the sixth minute but waited till the final minute to get a second through star-player Alessia Russo, who converted from the spot.Boaduwaa was Ghana's best players in the game and had a good opportunity to register her name on the scoresheet."A tough match against England yesterday 2–0 loss but a solid performance from the team. Thank you Lucy Bronze for the jersey swap and the guidance. Moments like these push us forward," she posted at the end of the game.The game was a good test for Kim Lars Bjorkegren and his girls who are preparing for next year's Women's Africa Cup of Nations.The tournament also serves as a qualification tournament for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Forever Grateful for this moment. Proud of this team, the Black Queens. Thank you Ghana FA. Thank You England," she posted after the match.Unfortunately for the Black Queens, they suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Lionesses, courtesy goals from Lucia Kendall and Alessia Russo.Meanwhile, Boye-Hlorkah will switch her attention to help Ghana win the Women's Africa Cup of Nations next year and also qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2027.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko has made a heartfelt plea to Medeama fans, calling on them to come out in their numbers and support the team in their upcoming clash against Berekum Chelsea.Tanko shared his worry about the way the team has been discussed in the media, noting that the negativity has been unfair, especially considering Medeama’s strong position in the league."Honestly, it's difficult for me to say something because and the radio station that's supposed to call the players are not speaking good about the team even though we are first.
