Ghanaian international Terry Yegbe has revealed he missed out on a chance to feature for Danish outfit Midtjylland due to visa issues.Yegbes first European adventure would have been Midtjylland, but missed out after being denied visa twice to Denmark.I was supposed to move to Midtjylland in Denmark, but my visa was denied twice. That affected me mentally. I started thinking, maybe the people back home were right when they say, you can be a good player, but you wont make it. It was hard, but the club president encouraged me to keep going. He told Flashscore in an interview.Born in Akatsi in the Volta Region of Ghana, Yegbe began his career with West African Football Academy (WAFA) before switching to Vision FC.After spells in the West African country, the enterprising defender departed Ghana for greener pastures, joining Finnish side SJK Seinajoki in 2022.His commanding performances earned him a switch to Sweden, joining IF Elfsborg, where he made 40 appearances, scoring four goals and impressing with his aerial ability and ball distribution.Currently in the books of Metz, the enterprising defender will be hoping to attain greater heights of his football career.Yegbe has become a mainstay at FC Metz, making eight appearances in the French Ligue 1 this season.
