
Fiorentina have learned that they will go up against Polish Ekstraklasa side Jagiellonia in the play-off round of the UEFA Conference League in February.
Fiorentina finished the Conference League league phase in 10th place with three wins, one draw and two losses to their name for a total tally of 10 points. A top eight finish was required to qualify directly for the round of 16.
Instead, Fiorentina have earned a spot in the play-off round, along with all of the other teams that finished the league phase between ninth and 24th place.
The draw for the Conference League play-off round took place at midday (GMT) on Friday at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
Fiorentina were drawn against Polish side Jagiellonia. The Viola will play away from home in the first leg on either February 18 or February 19, and will host Jagiellonia at the Stadio Artemio Franchi for the return leg the following week, on either February 25 or February 26.
