Roma striker Evan Ferguson has been ruled out of Thursday’s Europa League game against Panathinaikos due to ankle problems.
Republic of Ireland international Ferguson will miss Roma’s away Europa League match against Panathinaikos on Thursday due to an ankle injury relapse, as TMW reports.
Ferguson had already missed two games, one in Serie A and one in Coppa Italia, against Torino, but was back in the squad for Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Milan, remaining on the bench as an unused substitute.
The Brighton loanee has scored five goals and provided two assists in 22 Roma appearances this season.
The Giallorossi are short of options in attack for their upcoming European fixture as January signings Donyell Malen and Robinio Vaz won’t be available in the Europa League until the knock-out phase begins, and both Artem Dovbyk and Stephan El Shaarawy are injured.
On the other hand, defender Devyne Rensch is back in the Roma squad after missing Sunday’s game against Milan with a bruised knee.
Goalkeepers: Svilar, Gollini, De Marzi
Defenders: Rensch, Angelino, Ndicka, Tsimikas, Celik, Mancini, Ziolkowski, Wesley, Ghilardi
Midfielders: Cristante, Pellegrini, El Aynaoui, Pisilli
Attackers: Soulé, Dybala, Della Rocca
