Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has urged the Ghana Football Associations Disciplinary Committee to sanction referee Reginald Collins Amoah for what he labelled an ‘incompetent’ display during Sundays Super Clash defeat to Asante Kotoko.
The Phobians suffered their first loss of the season after Amoah awarded a controversial penalty, ruling that defender Yaw Amankwa Baafi fouled Kotoko striker Peter Amidu Acquah inside the box.
Guinean forward Morifing Donzo converted from the spot to seal a 1-0 win for Kotoko.
Tensions heightened when Hearts late equaliser from Mawuli Wayo was disallowed for offside, a decision that infuriated club officials and supporters.
Meanwhile, the GFAs Disciplinary Committee has charged Hearts of Oak and midfielder Hussein Mohammed for misconduct.
The club is accused of failing to control its players and fans, while Hussein allegedly assaulted the referee as he exited the pitch under police escort.
Both parties have until Tuesday, November 11, to respond to the charges.
