Scott McTominay didn’t only score two goals for Napoli in a 2-2 draw against Inter on Sunday, but was also the first Partenopei player for total shots, interceptions and distance covered.
Napoli star McTominay was the obvious Man of the Match in a 2-2 draw against Inter at San Siro on Sunday.
The Scotland international put in an all-round performance against the Nerazzurri, and stats confirm his contribution was not limited to goals.
As highlighted by DAZN, McTominay was the top Napoli performer for total shots (four), interceptions (four) and distance covered, as well as the most fouled player in his team. The ex-Manchester United striker ranked second among his teammates for touches inside the box and duels won.
His heatmap at San Siro (via Sofascore) clearly shows how the 29-year-old contributed across every area of the pitch.
McTominay was voted as the Best Serie A player in 2024-25 and has continued to impress this season with eight goals and four assists in 27 appearances across all competitions.
