NFL: Week Three Predictions With Divisional Games, A Playoff Rematch, And A Potential Super Bowl Preview

This is a no-brainer pick. The Dolphins are in complete disarray and look like they’re destined to fire their head coach midway through the season. On the other side, the Bills are once again positioned to win the AFC East for a sixth consecutive season. The ‘Phins are 1-9 in their last ten games against the Bills and haven’t won in Buffalo since 2016. That trend continues this week.

Joe Flacco is like a statue in the pocket. His complete lack of mobility against this swarming Packers defensive front is a recipe for disaster in The Land. The Packers won’t have to do much to win this game. If they score at least 18 points, that should be enough to down the Cleveland Browns. They haven’t scored more than 17 points in a game since December 2nd, 2024.

Indy comes into this one riding a four-game win streak against the Titans that dates back to October of 2023. Even though Tennessee has remedied its quarterback problem, they have no way of protecting Cam Ward, who has already taken a league-high 11 sacks. With a defense that gives up 26.5 points per game, the Titans won’t have any way to stop the Colts’ balanced offensive attack, which is ranked second in yards per game.

Who isn’t excited for the battle between Jake Browning and Carson Wentz?! What’s interesting about this game is that it features some of the best skill position players in the NFL. Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Tee Higgins, etc. The Vikings have the defense to give Jake Browning problems all day long. The Bengals do not have that same luxury on that side of the ball. There’s also no way Carson Wentz will play worse than J.J. McCarthy.

The Seelers’ defense can’t be this bad, right? They might let up a lot of points, but they also have a ton of talent on that side of the ball. I think T.J. Watt will give Patriots offensive tackle Will Campbell his “Welcome to the NFL” moment. At the same time, Aaron Rodgers should be able to slice and dice the Pats’ 32nd-ranked pass defense.

This is the game I am most excited for this weekend (outside of Packers-Browns). The Eagles look a little sluggish on the offensive side of the ball as they continue to get used to Kevin Patullo’s playcalling. That isn’t the case for the Rams, who got both Davante Adams and Puka Nacua going last week. With some concerns in the secondary and only two sacks on defense, the Eagles won’t look as good as they did when these teams last met in January.
