New Juventus CEO Damien Comolli has outlined his ambitions for the club after officially replacing Maurizio Scanavino, describing his vision as one built on discipline, sustainability and a relentless desire to win.
Speaking to the media at the Allianz Stadium, Comolli thanked John Elkann for his trust and emphasised the weight of his new role. “It’s an honour and a privilege to manage this club,” he said, with quotes via TuttoMercatoWeb.
“Every day I wake up and think: how can we make Juventus win again? I have an obsession with victory. This club has an incredible history of success – there is no alternative but to honour it.”
Since arriving in June, Comolli said his focus has been on reshaping Juventus’ internal structure. “We’ve worked to ensure the right people are in the right places, with the right culture. We’re obsessed with improving – there’s no time to settle. Our only goal is to return to winning.”
He also acknowledged that Juventus are operating under tight Financial Fair Play controls, warning that January will be a restrained window. “We’ve received a letter from UEFA. What we do in January will be difficult and closely monitored,” he explained. “We’ll look around, but there are no major plans.”
Comolli confirmed there is already an agreement in place with Dusan Vlahovic over his future. “We reached an understanding last summer,” he revealed. “We’ll speak again at the end of the season, but we’re confident. No Italian club can compete financially with the Premier League, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be competitive.”
The French executive also discussed the need for long-term sustainability and new sources of revenue – including concerts and events at the stadium – while reaffirming his commitment to developing young talent. “Without a high-performing academy, it’s impossible to compete in Europe. We want to grow our own stars.”
Comolli concluded with a clear message of intent: “Winning is the only goal. But we must do it wisely – through creativity, unity, and sustainability.”
