Manchester United enquire about Brazil ace as they plan for post Amorim

Manchester United have made an inquiry to Atalanta about star midfielder Ederson. The 26-year-old joined Atalanta in 2022 and has become a mainstay in the centre of the park.

He’s made 121 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals. Ederson became a full Brazil international in 2024 when he was called up to the squad that traveled to the United States for the 2024 Copa America.

Ederson is primarily a defensive midfielder who possess great energy and athleticism. The player has caught the eye of several top European clubs over the past few seasons.

Transfer expert Nicolo Schira has reported that United has approached Atalanta for Ederson, alongside Turkish side Galatasaray. The Red Devils are known to be planning a midfield rebuild amid links to several top name midfielders.
