Liverpool are interested in signing Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz. The Turkey international has been in fine form this season, scoring 13 times and adding eight assists across all competitions.

The Reds are bracing for life without Mohamed Salah, and Tuttosport has reported that Yildiz could cost as much as €100m. The 20-year-old has become one of Juventus’ most important players, so much so that the club are locked in talks to extend the player’s deal.

Yildiz is seeking a substantial bumper to his reported current £49,000-per-week deal. This is far less than most of his teammates, including striker Jonathon David who has struggled to hit the ground running in Italy.

Talks between the club and the player are set to resume in January, with Juventus reportedly ready to offer as much as €6m-per-year. The player’s relationship with new manager Luciano Spalletti is also said to be a factor in the player’s decision to extend his contract.

Liverpool are monitoring the situation and are reportedly ready to swoop in with an improved wage package to land the player. The Reds would be prepared to offer a substantially larger salary than Juventus.
